We are performing a song at D2’s assembly at 2pm tomorrow. Please send your child in uniform but with a change of clothes - a plain T shirt and long pants please. Tights for girls are ok if they don’t have long pants or jeans. Please come and watch if you are free!

This term we are presenting our speeches. Everyone needs to have prepared a speech in a language other than English, and can also do a second speech in English if they wish. Most students choose a topic that is special to them and/or their family. If no-one at home can help, perhaps another family member can? We look forward to them being presented next week!

Next term we are presenting our speeches. Everyone needs a speech in a language other than English. Most students choose a language that is special to their family. If no one at home can help, we need to find someone that can. The holidays are a good time to visit relatives and ask for help for our speeches. For example, you could recite a bible verse in Samoan. Lots of people write a speech in another language on topics like 'My family' or 'All about me'. 

Hi  Parents  and  Caregivers, Most  of  B3  is  ready  for  swimming  today  (thank you!),  however  I  have  a  few  who  have  told  me  their  parents  have  said  they  are  not  to  swim. Swimming  here  is  in  a  covered  pool  which  is  safe  and  not  too  deep.  There  are  2  trained  swimming  instructors  present  at  every  class.  Swimming  is  an essential  skill  in  New  Zealand  with  our  many  beautiful  beaches  and  waterways.  It  is  also  an essential  part  of  the  school  curriculum;  part  of  PE.
