Hi  Parents  and  Caregivers, Most  of  B3  is  ready  for  swimming  today  (thank you!),  however  I  have  a  few  who  have  told  me  their  parents  have  said  they  are  not  to  swim. Swimming  here  is  in  a  covered  pool  which  is  safe  and  not  too  deep.  There  are  2  trained  swimming  instructors  present  at  every  class.  Swimming  is  an essential  skill  in  New  Zealand  with  our  many  beautiful  beaches  and  waterways.  It  is  also  an essential  part  of  the  school  curriculum;  part  of  PE. Therefore,  all  students  are  expected  to  attend  swimming  every  Tuesday.  Please  make  sure  your c hild  is  ready  for  swimming  every  Tuesday.  Thank you  :-)

Three students in B3 still don't have their stationery. This makes learning difficult for them, and holds up the rest of the class too. It also makes teaching harder. The school expectation is for all students to have stationery by the start of the term and parents are able to start purchasing from December the previous year. We understand saving may take some time so we ask that in future you start to prepare for this expense early enough to have your child/ren ready for school at the start of the year, day one. Thank you.
